Introduction into Knitting- Try it you’ll like it… select a yarn for a scarf, we’ll cast on for you. Show you the knit stitch and away you go… This is just to see if you like knitting without much of an investment. $15 + supplies

Knit 101 (formally beginning knit) - Learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. We provide practice yarn and will get you started on your scarf during week 3. Four classes, 1 hour each. $45 + supplies.

Knit 201 (formally beyond basics) – Learn increases, decreases, gauge, and how to read a pattern. Different cast ons and how to pick up dropped stitches. Two 2 hour classes, $50 + supplies, homework required.

Sockology- Worked on double points. A pair of worsted weight ankle socks. Learn to do everything concerning socks. Three classes, 1 ½ hours each, $75, including needles.

Beginning Lace- Learn to read a chart while completing a beautiful lace weight scarf. Learn all the tips for creating “safe” knitting. One 2 hour class, with one follow up class, $30 + supplies.

K.A.L. (knit a longs) - We all knit the same thing that we have selected. We help each other at specified times that we gather, a great way to learn. No Beginners.

Fix it’s- Learn to fix your boo-boos- un-knit, un-purl, and pick up stitches. Pull your knitting out!! Don’t panic- you mess it up and you can fix it! One class, 2 hours, $25, homework required.

Finishing- Done with your piece and now what?? Learn about blocking, seam it with a mattress stitch. Learn techniques to pick up stitches down the fronts, around necklines, and even a simple crochet finish for our knits. One 3 hour session with a 30 minute break, $60, homework required.
